Bridge and Bloom

(Group Project) Our Design focuses on removing the disconnect between youths and elders by creating a connected community center that seamlessly ties with the outdoor environment. Our goal is to bridge the generational gap allowing individuals to bloom and grow. Our strategy for this is to incorporate activities which promote healthy living, cognitive development, and allow the older generations to have an opportunity of leadership and purpose. Bridge and Bloom not only will be a center of growth for children but will reduce any sense of loneliness additionally creating a sense of community. With the use of sustainable materials, and connection to nature, Bridge and Bloom will positively affect the quality of life within its community by bridging the gap of its users.
